Twitter users are warned due to the new phishing scam. It has emerged in the last 24 hours. Don’t enter your password, if you receive a DM that asks “LOL is this you,” and it is nothing but phishing. This kind of phishing make the twitter user click on the link and it will routed towards bogus website. This phishing attempts shown high and is popular in the social networking sites such as Twitter rather than emails. The latest phishing directs the users to the fake Twitter login page and make them to enter passwords and the usernames.
If you see any DM or message asking, “LOL is this you” then it is quite better not following the link and it would usually be a spam or scam. So, beware of phishing attacks in Twitter
